‘Experiencing the Passion’ returns

Sequim Bible Church, 847 N. Sequim Ave., again shares “Experiencing the Passion,” a free hands-on, self-guided tour of 11 events in Jesus’ life starting with the Last Supper and ending at the empty tomb.

Walk through the exhibit anytime from noon-7 p.m. Thursday-Friday, March 28-29.

A walk-through takes about 30 minutes, with time to reflect and scripture provided with each scene.

Parental guidance is advised for some of the events. Counselors are on hand and child care is available for children 3 and under.

Passion story told at Dungeness Valley Lutheran

Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church presents a dramatic telling of the Passion story at 7 p.m. on Good Friday, March 29.

“What Wondrous Love” is the theme of the service, augmented by musical selections including hymns, solos and anthems by the choir.

Trinity decorates mesh cross

A wire-mesh cross will be decorated with bouquets to begin the 10 a.m. March 31 Easter service at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave.

Those attending are invited to bring flowers to the cross immediately before the service.

In addition to the sermon by the Rev. Bill Green, pastor, the Trinity Singers and Handbell Choir will perform during the service.

A light brunch will precede the service from 9-9:45 a.m. A Maundy Thursday service at 6:30 p.m. March 28 will include a service of Tenebrae, or the extinguishing of lights.

Worship group forms in Sequim

An inclusive Christian group is forming in Sequim to worship, share and act in Jesus’ name. Call 683-1943 for more information.

Church adds early service

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave., Port Angeles, will offer two worship services each Sunday beginning April 7.

The early service, the more traditional liturgical service, will be at 8:30 a.m. and the second service at 11 a.m. Sunday School for ages 2 through adult runs from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Children are welcome at both worship services and a nursery is available at both times.
