Answering the ‘big question’

Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road, Port Angeles, features the Rev. Amanda Aikman speaking on “The Big Question Is Does My Life Have Meaning?” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5.

According to Aikman, in an era of turmoil and fear, how do you find your center and work from a place of calm and grace to find meaning in your life? Aikman will propose some methods and interactive exercises to help answer this big question.

Interfaith groups meet

The popular “Spiritual Read” in Clallam County, “Finding Peace Through Spiritual Practice – The Interfaith Amigos Guide to Personal, Social and Environmental Healing” by Pastor Don Mackenzie, Imam Jamal Rahman and Rabbi Ted Falcon, will meet through the third week of March at these locations in Sequim: Sequim Library, Tuesday, 10 a.m.-noon; Natural Healing Clinic, Wednesday, 1-2:30 p.m.; Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, Tuesday, 10:30 a.m.-noon or 6:30 p.m. Wednesday; home group, Sunday, 4 p.m.; and Trinity United Methodist Church, Friday, 1:30-3 p.m.

Peace Choir hosts community sing

The Interfaith Peace Choir presents a “Concert and Community Sing” to celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week, at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road, Port Angeles.

Community members are invited to draw inspiration from both listening and joining in song. Food and fellowship is provided. Donations will be collected to support Syrian refugees.
