‘Living Waters’, free supper at Friends Church

Free Supper and Show community socials continue in the New Year, set for 6 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month at Peninsula Evangelical Friends Church, 1291 N. Barr Road, between Sequim and Port Angeles.

On Wednesday, Jan. 9, the movie screened is “Living Waters – Intelligent Design in the Oceans of Earth.” Travel with dolphins, humpback whales, sea turtles and Pacific salmon on a breathtaking exploration of the biological systems that make life in the oceans possible.

Supper is homemade soups with bread or rolls and home-baked cookies.

The movie starts as soon as people are served. The 68-minute run time makes for a family-friendly evening, organizers say.

“Bring the whole family and feed your body and your soul as you watch the movie together while you eat,” said Vicki Carlisle, clerk of the Social Committee.

“We welcome visitors at our Supper and Show and at our 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship.”
