Palm Sunday service set

A procession of palms will mark the Palm Sunday service as Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., begins its observance of Holy Week.

The 10 a.m. service on March 24 will commemorate Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

In a Good Friday service at 2 p.m. on March 29, the church will recall — through readings, prayers, hymns and silence — the events leading to Christ’s crucifixion.

The Easter service, at 10 a.m. March 31, will celebrate the resurrection with joyful hymns and special music. The Rev. Desi Larson, pastor, will deliver the message.
