Free radio forum spotlights ‘Nurturing Your Mental Health’

Peninsula Behavioral Health CEO Wendy Sisk presens “Nurturing Your Mental Health,” a free WOW! Working on Wellness radio forum from 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, on KSQM 91.5 FM

After a year of COVID challenges, taking care of one’s own mental well-being is more important than ever, program orgniazers say. Sisk will share strategies for good self-care and talk about when professional help might be warranted.

Sisk is a licensed mental health counselor and geriatric mental health specialist with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to joining Peninsula Behavioral Health in 2016, her primary focus was crisis intervention and working with individuals with serious mental illness.

Work is supported by more than 70 volunteers including physicians, other professional health care providers an laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
