Free radio health forum to highlight ‘Importance of Exercise’

Pauline Geraci will present “The Importance of Exercise” at the next WOW! Working on Wellness Radio Forum, et for 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, on KSQM 91.5 FM.

Geraci specializes in getting people in the best shape of their lives, and she wants to help people achieve a good quality of life and avoid suffering injury because of inactivity. She owned Fit4Life Studio, which offered a range of programs and services from fitness classes to personal training and nutrition counseling.

After 27 years in the military and 17 years teaching in men’s prisons, she now focuses on fitness and health.

Geraci has written and published two books and numerous articles for both military and civilian audiences. She holds the Washington State Senior Games record for the shotput, discus, 5K speed walking and one-mile run.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic, which provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. Work is supported by more than 70 volunteers including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
