Genealogical group to present ‘My Cousin, the Gangster’

Chicago genealogist Mike Karsen will present “My Cousin, the Gangster” at the next general meeting of the County Genealogical Society at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12.

There is no cost for joining the meeting via Zoom or attending the Zoom presentation at the new Research Center, 403 E. Eight St., Port Angeles. To join the presentation, call 360-417-5000 and ask for the meeting number and passcode.

Karsen is a professional speaker and genealogist and is a member of several professional genealogical societies. He has presented more than 300 talks to local, national and international organizations. He is the author of the JewishGen website, “Guide to Jewish Genealogy in Chicagoland” and has published many articles on genealogy. He is the Past President of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois.
