Get gardening questions answered at final 2022 Digging Deeper event

Get answers of your gardening questions from local experts at “Reflections on the Garden: Questions and Answers,”the final 2022 Digging Deeper series, set for 10:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road.Veteran Clallam County Master

Gardeners Laurel Moulton, Audreen Williams, Keith Dekker and Jan Danford will join forces to answer questions from local gardeners.

The Master Gardener panel which together has more than 100 years of gardening experience will share their reflections on the 2022 gardening season, examining what went well in local gardens and what did not, what lessons were learned and how can we do better next year.

Panel members will also answer questions about fruit and vegetable crops, ornamental plants, lawns, pests and diseases based on science and local experience.

“The session is free and open to the public and will be held in-person, out of doors at the Master Gardener Woodcock Demonstration Garden.

In addition to the scheduled panel presentation on Sept. 17, a team of Clallam County Master Gardeners will be available at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. to answer additional gardening questions.

Digging Deeper attendees are encouraged to bring samples of garden problems or pests for diagnosis by Master Gardeners who can recommend control measures.
