Peninsula Men’s Gospel Singers will be performing a series of concerts at several area churches the weekend of April 25th, 26th and 27th.

The ensemble will start this tour Friday night April 25th, 7 p.m., with a performance at Independent Bible Church in Port Angeles, 116 E. Ahlvers Rd. The following day, Sat. April 27th, they will perform in Sequim at the Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 923 N. Sequim Ave, at 3p.m.

The group will close out their weekend tour on Sunday April 27th with a 6p.m. performance at the Joyce Bible Church, 50470 Highway 112, in Joyce.

Those in attendance will enjoy some of the special music that was presented at the Spring Concert last month at the Port Angeles High School. As well, there will also be a repeat performance of the “little brass band”, a revived instrumental group, composed of some of the singers.

Each concert will last approximately one hour. Although much of the music is from the Spring Concert, there will be a couple additional songs added to the repertoire. This may be a good opportunity to re-visit many of those great songs offered at the Spring Concert, or, if you were unable to attend last months performance, the ability to see these men sing some powerful works.

Michael Rivers, as Director, will be accompanied on the piano by Penny Hall and sign language interpretation will be provided by Karen Coles.

No attendance fee is required, but donations will be accepted at the door and appreciated.
