Greywolf invites guests to ‘Beauty and the Beast’

School production is featured for one night only on Wednesday, May 25

Greywolf Drama Club presents Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” for one night only at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the school’s multi-purpose room.

About 50 students in grades 3-5 bring the production to life with direction from Sheri Burke, Shannon Green and Damon Little with Burke leading costumes, Green choreography and Little music.

Ten-year-old Julia Jeffers, who plays Belle and really likes the movie, said she’s grateful she was chosen for the part.

“My favorite part is ‘Be Our Guest’ because I love the singing and dancing,” she said.

Eleven-year-old Norah Schmidt, who plays Lumiere, said she likes the acting and singing, too, and seeing the play come together.

“Everyone gets a little nervous before but then it just comes together and it’s magic,” she said.
