Imagined Reality Improv returns to OTA

Imagined Reality, whose varied performers from Bainbridge include a scientist, two lawyers, a classical musician, a human resources guru, a marketing expert and a teenage student, is scheduled to be back in Sequim at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 14, in Olympic Theatre Arts’ Gathering Hall, 414 N. Sequim Ave.

Tickets to the Imagined Reality show are $10 for the general public and are available at OTA’s box office from 1- 5 p.m., Monday through Friday or online at www.OlympicTheatreArts.org.

See Imagined Reality’s page on Facebook (www.Facebook.com/IRImprov) for the troupe’s latest dates and details.

Troupe member Nancy Peterson will also be returning to OTA to teach improvisation in a series of classes starting April 1.

“Improv to me is the art of spontaneity,” Peterson said. “It is quick, uninhibited thinking and doing what comes naturally to children, but becomes suppressed as we mature. So much of what young children do is hilarious to adults. Allowing that freedom of expression in an adult setting is even funnier.”
