Learn about landscaping with ornamental grasses

Join veteran Master Gardener Janet Oja as she leads “Using Ornamental Grasses in the Landscape,” a class set for 10 a.m. Saturday. June 17, at the Master Gardener’s Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road, Sequim.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

Oja will share her experiences on selecting the best ornamental grasses for a homeowner’s landscape, reviewing advantages and disadvantages of growing several species, including sedges and bamboo, while discussing their seasonal maintenance needs. She also will talk about how to optimize the beauty of ornamental grasses throughout all four seasons in one’s garden.
