The Sequim Valley Lions Club recently donated $500 to the Dungeness Valley Health &Wellness Clinic after it partnered with the Lions Club to provide free health exams in the Sequim Walmart parking lot on Sept. 14.

In all, 35 people went through a range of free medical tests including free hearing and blood pressure testing as well as glaucoma and vision testing, along with diabetes and blood sugar testing.

A spokesman for the Club said, “For more than sixty years, our Lions Club has offered a vast array of programs like these free health exams to our community.”

“We encourage the residents of Sequim to join us in this wonderful work so we can continue to serve the people of Sequim.”
