The work of local artists Shirley Rudolf and Kathey Ervin have been selected to be included in Art Port Townsend/Expressions Northwest, the Northwind Arts Center and Port Townsend Arts Commission’s 19th annual Juried Art Exhibition set for Aug. 3-27. Rudolf’s watercolor piece “Serenity” (pictured) and Ervin’s mixed media woven vessel entitles “Totems — Red and Black” were chosen for the show that will be juried by Susan Warner, who selected 67 pieces from 303 works of submitted art. Ervin is also teaching a workshop on the University of Puget Sound campus for the National Basketry Organization’s’s biannual conference, set for July 18-23.
