Local seminar to spotlight Developmental Disabilities Administration

Clallam County Parent to Parent is hosting a free virtual “DDA 101” seminar at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 18, via Zoom.

The Developmental Disabilities Administration is the “main door” to services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Washington state, program organizers note; it’s where people go to get help for in-home, out-of-home, educational and community-based services.

Carina Robinson, DDA supervisor for Clallam and Jefferson counties, will explain how to apply to the DDA; what services and supports are offered; what to do if denied services, and more.
