MAC presents weekend art demos

The Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley presents two free art demos at its MAC Exhibit Center, 175 W. Cedar St. in Sequim, over Memorial Day weekend.

 

Watercolorist and author Iris Edey demonstrates botanical sketching and signs copies of her illustrated books from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 25. Paulette Hill demonstrates bead stitching and pendant wire-wrapping from noon-3 p.m. Sunday, May 26.

 

The free demos are open to the public, with refreshments provided. Admission to the MAC Exhibit Center is a suggested $2 for adults, children free.

 

Upcoming demos include Friendship Quilters with quilt-making, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, June 18.
