Making the cut

Catherine Mix, Sequim artist, art teacher and owner of the Cutting Garden Art Center in Sequim, has had her painting “Down the Colorado III” juried into the prestigious Northwest Watercolor Societies’ annual members show Waterworks; only 50 of the 286 paintings submitted were juried into the show.

The exhibition runs through Nov. 21 at Tsuga Fine Art & Custom Framing, 10101 Main St., Bothell. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
