Soroptimist International of Sequim recently recognized Mia Kirner as their May 2024 Girl of the Month.

Kirner is active in cross county and fastpitch softball. When not involved in sports she is active in her science classes and said she loves to be creative with her hands through ceramics.

She has been recognized as Athlete of the Week in the Peninsula Daily News and is the recipient of the Don Knapp Award.

She hopes to attend a four-year college and major in kinesiology.
