Milestone: Bowden earns Rotary Student of the Month honor

Jonathan Bowden, center, pictured here with Public Relations representative Bret Keehn, left, and Rotary president Jim McEntire, was named Sequim Sunrise Rotary’s April Middle School Student of the Month.

Bowden is the son of Lance and Marcia Bowden.

He said he enjoys all of his subjects along with soccer, basketball, badminton and hockey. Video games and violin with the Sequim Community Orchestra are favorite activities.

Bowden plans to study in the field of science and to teach others of its importance.
