Soroptimist International of Sequim recently recognized Quinn Danielson, left, and Kayla Geulen as its Girls of the Month for February and March.

Danielson volunteers with maintaining the Olympic Discovery Trail and as a summer library helper, and participates as a volunteer for the annual Breakfast With Santa event. In addition, she has been recognized as Student Athlete of the Month (January 2018) and at her job as an outstanding employee at Fifth Avenue.

Danielson will attend Peninsula College and then transfer to a four-year with a focus on nursing.

Geulen is active in the Be the Change club and has participated in four of its projects, as well as with volunteering at Camaraderie Cellars as part of a fundraiser for the graduating Class of 2019 and with the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Geulen has been recognized for her talented voice and plans to attend Western Washington University and major in kinesiology with the goal of becoming a physical therapist.
