Beau Halverson was recently named as Sequim Sunrise Rotary’s February Student of the Month.

Halverson is an active student and plays football, soccer and is a wrestler.

Automotive teacher Kevin Phillips spoke about his student’s commitment to the automotive program and his leadership of helping other students succeed.

“Beau consistently goes above and beyond in class and outside of class,” Phillips said. “Beau will help other students and even offers to help students he doesn’t know.”

Halverson is the son of Dale and Stacy Halverson, and enjoys participating in community activities such as Rally in the Alley. Also a Boy Scout, Halverson said he is planning on attending college and hopes to become an engineer or welder.
