Olympic Medical Center recently honored four OMC human resources team members with Employee Recognition awards.
The group, which includes members of the recruitment team and operations staff, was celebrated for working together to recruit, hire and onboard a record number of employees this past August.
OMC officials noted that their success was achieved despite the challenges of a workforce shortage.
Awards were presented to: Larsson Chapman and Bryanne Stewart, Human Resources Business Partner/Talent Acquisition staffers, and human resources generalists Alexis Rookard and Camryn Smith.
Chapman played an integral part in recruiting a large group of new nurse graduates who joined OMC this fall.
Rookard is known for her eye for organization and her willingness to go above and beyond, OMC representatives said.
Smith’s “professionalism, intelligence, hard work and friendliness raised the bar for the HR department,” they said.
Stewart is known for contacting excellent potential recruits, while throwing herself into hiring fairs and career and job events, OMC representatives said.
