Milestone: Sequim Soroptimists select Miller, Jack for Girls of the Month honors

Soroptimist International of Sequim’s first two Girls of the Month awards for 2020 go to Brianna Jack and Kianna Miller.

Jack, Girl of the Month for January, is a member of Honor Society, cheerleader for four years as well as a captain this year and is commissioner of LINK, a school program connecting upper classmen with freshmen and sophomores and assisting them as they navigate through high school with the goal of success for their high school years.

Jack has been accepted to the University of Idaho.

Miller, the February Girl of the Month, volunteers with Clallam County Mosaic’s Night to Shine, Fort Discovery Unity Effort, Trey Green Guild, Soroptimist Gala Garden Show and at Helen Haller Elementary School. In addition, Miller has received awards for her poetry and recognized with an award with Future Business Leaders of America and is a member of the cheerleading squad.

In the fall of 2020, Miller will attend Western Washington University.
