Milestone: Van Dyken is Elks’ Student of the Month

The Sequim Elks’ Student of the month for April 2022 is Becca Van Dyken.

Van Dyken as been in Sequim her whole life, earning a 4.0 grade-point average at Sequim high School. Her classes include Honors English, Honors Algebra II, Chemistry, Spanish II, Select Choir and Advanced Placement (AP) Modern World History; her favorite subject is chemistry.

She is involved with the school’s leadership committee, Honor Society, operetta, book club and Interact Club.

The daughter of Lise and Scott Van Dyken, she enjoys playing pinball, soccer and spending time with her family of nine. She also has a love for animals.

Van Dyken plans to attend college and study physical therapy and training service animals.
