Karlie Viada, shown here with Rotary public relations representative Bret Keehn, left, and Rotary president Jim McEntire, was named Sequim Sunrise Rotary’s January Middle School Student of the Month.

Viada, the daughter of Jason and Marci Viada, said her favorite subjects are language arts and math. She enjoys swimming and track and participated in the science fair.

She plans to attend a four-year college to pursue a degree.
