Milestone: Wiker named Sequim Soroptimists’ Girl of the Month

Soroptimist International of Sequim recently announced the selection of Kalli Wiker as their November 2020 Girl of the Month.

Wiker is involved in a number of volunteer activities, including the local soup kitchen, Sequim Little League concession stand, summer math camps and youth basketball. She also contributes to the Sequim High School Link Crew group that helps freshmen assimilate into high school, as well as SHS’s Haunted Hallways and Rotary choir performances.

Wiker is the recipient of an Olympic League Scholar Athlete award in varsity volleyball, basketball and tennis and received the Olympic league Volleyball Sportsmanship Award. In her sophomore year she and teammate Jessica Dietzman won the 2A state doubles tennis title.

Wiker’s college of choice is George Fox University. She’s considering biochemistry and pharmacy majors.
