Olympic Medical Center CEO Eric Lewis presented a leadership award to Ken Berkes, director of the Olympic Medical Cancer Center and of rehabilitation services, during a February department management meeting. According to Lewis, “Ken Berkes is a seasoned leader who is passionate about providing great patient care at OMC. Ken’s innovative style, energetic management and dedication to building teams are strong assets for this organization.”

Berkes began working at Olympic Medical Center in 1996 as the director of physical therapy. Berkes also plays a critical role in OMC’s relationship with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and maintains the American College of Surgeons accreditation for the cancer center.
