Museum hosts Peninsula Art Friends’ works and robots

Peninsula Art Friends, a collective of Sequim artists formed in 2021, displays various works in the Judith McInnes Tozzer Art Gallery at Sequim Museum and Arts, 544 N. Sequim Ave., through September.

The group features Sequim artists Shirley Randolph, Connie Drysdale, Beverly Beighle, Melissa Doyel, Allyne Lawson, Jerri Moore, Cecilia Olivera-Hillway and Roger Huntley.

In the past year, they’ve seen their acrylics and watercolor-based works, and robots displayed at Sequim venues, with one of Lawson’s images of the Dungeness Lighthouse appearing on a bottle of wine at Wind Rose Cellars.

Olivera-Hillway also has a few interactive robots available for visitors to try.

The museum is open 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday. Private tours are available by calling 360-681-2257.
