‘Music Where you Bark!’ set for Sept. 11

Tess Teel Trio and Sound Advice with Dawn Martin are the featured acts at the final KSQM’s concert series event, scheduled for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the James Center for the Performing Arts band shell, 350 N. Blake Ave.

The “Music Where you Bark!” event is held in conjunction with the annual Pet Lovers Day at the Carrie Blake Community Park.

Attendees are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the free event. The event will also celebrate the nation and first responders.

From 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Tess Teel sings bossa nova, swing, jazz, blues and contemporary soft pop/rock in French, Portuguese, Spanish and English with her musical trio.

From 1:30-3 p.m., Sound Advice with Dawn Martin looks to keep the audience moving with Motown, Soul and Rock/Roll tunes from the 1960 and 1970s.

The Sequim Valley Lions will be selling hot dogs and other vendors will be on hand, organizers say.
