My Choices adds staffers

Shelly Orr, RN, BSN, has joined the staff of My Choices Pregnancy Resource Centers as nurse manager.

Orr is a native of Port Angeles. Her background includes service in both hospital and clinic settings including OMP Primary Care clinics and Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle.

“I appreciate the opportunity to use my nursing experience to help our clients have healthy pregnancies and healthy families,” Orr said.

In March, Ann Henninger, RN, BSN, will complete the transition from nurse manager to nurse sonographer and consultant for My Choices.

Henninger will pursue her master’s degree in nursing.

“Over the past six years, I have been amazingly blessed to serve My Choices as nurse manager,” Henninger said. “It continues to be my pleasure to work with an amazing board of directors, staff, donors, and volunteers; to see our services and client base expand; and to pursue and receive medical accreditation and re-accreditation.”

My Choices pregnancy resource centers have served the communities of Port Angeles and Sequim since 1984. The first center was in Port Angeles as the Crisis Pregnancy Center; the Sequim Center opened in 2008, and the organization’s Mobile Medical Center has active since May 2016.
