Myers to read from new novel at Fourth Friday Readings

Local author Linda B. Myers will read from her newest historical novel at the next Fourth Friday Readings, starting at 6:15 p.m. on March 22 in the media room at The Lodge, 660 Evergreen Farm Way.

“Fog Coast Runaway,” Myers’ seventh novel, is historical fiction set on the 1890s Oregon coast and is due for publication this spring.

Myers moved to the Pacific Northwest after a marketing career in Chicago, Ill. Her column on aging, From the Back Nine, appears monthly in the Sequim Gazette, and she co-founded Olympic Peninsula Authors.

Following the featured speaker, there will be an hour of 5-minute open mic readings. Interested writers should rehearse because readings are timed; arrive early to sign up. For open mic guidelines, email to heidi@olypen.com.

The free event is accessible to everyone. There is an elevator and stairs to the media room on the second floor.
