NOLS Book Discussion Books for October

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) has announced the books that will be featured in its monthly Book Discussion Groups in October.

Here are the books and meeting schedules:

Second Wednesday Book Discussion Group: “Thunder Song: Essays” by Sasha taqwšəblu LaPointe. On Zoom: Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. Paperback copies are available at the Port Angeles and Sequim libraries.

Second Saturday Book Discussion Group: “The Bandit Queens” by Parini Shroff. This in-person gathering will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Sequim Library Temporary Location, 609 W. Washington St. Paperback copies are available at the Sequim Library Temporary Location.

Fourth Wednesday Book Discussion Group: “Now You See Us” by Balli Kaur Jaswal. This group will meet in person at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the Raymond Carver Room at the Port Angeles Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St. Paperback copies are available at the Port Angeles Main Library.
