NOLS forming Teen Advisory Board

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) is forming a new Teen Advisory Board.

Members of the board will gain leadership skills while collaborating with library staff and peers from around the county to plan teen programming and “help make the library a fun, supportive, and engaging place for teens,” library representatives say.

Regular meetings will be held once a month.

Teen Advisory Board will meet virtually, with the first one set for 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, on Zoom; an ongoing meeting time will be determined by the group.

Register at nols.org or by talking with library staff. Participants need a library card with a birth date listed to register.

Those interested in joining the Teen Advisory Board but don’t have a library card can sign up for a temporary one at nols.org or get assistance from library staffers.
