NOLS sets virtual book conversations for September

The North Olympic Library System hosts four virtual Book Discussion Group meetings each month

Registration through nols.org/book-discussion-groups is required to receive the Zoom meeting information, but all are welcome to participate.

Paperback copies of the upcoming book selections will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussion, during curbside service hours at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., or Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.

Copies in other formats such as large print, book on CD, and eBook may also be available to request through the NOLS catalog.

The September schedule includes:

2nd Saturday Book Discussion Group — “H is for Hawk” by Helen Macdonald, 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 (paperback copies available at the Sequim Library)

2nd Tuesday Book Discussion Group — “Born a Crime” by Trevor Noah, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14 (paperback copies available at the Port Angeles Library)

Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group — “Longitude” by Dava Sobel, 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 (paperback copies available at the Sequim Library)

Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group — “The Fifth Season” by N.K. Jemisin, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 (paperback copies available at the Port Angeles Main Library)
