NOLS to host book discussion groups in March

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) hosts three Book Discussion Group meetings each month. Registration is not required. Learn more at nols.org/book-groups, or call or visit the library for assistance. Reach the Sequim Library at 360-683-1161.

Paperback copies of the titles will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussions at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., or Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., on a first-come, first-served basis. Copies in other formats such as large print, book on CD, and eBook may also be available to request through the NOLS catalog; see nols.org.

The March 2024 Book Discussion schedule includes:

• Second Saturday Book Discussion Group — “Exhalation” by Ted Chiang, 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Sequim Library; paperback copies available at Sequim Library

• Second Wednesday Book Discussion Group — “Hold Still” by Sally Mann, 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, held online; paperback copies available at Sequim, Port Angeles libraries

• Fourth Wednesday Book Discussion Group — “Prodigal Summer” by Barbara Kingsolver, 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in the Carver Room at the Port Angeles Library; paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library

Book Discussion Groups are supported by a donation made in memory of Sally Albiso, the Friends of Sequim Library and the Port Angeles Friends of the Library.
