NOLS to host book discussions in October

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) will host four virtual Book Discussion Group meetings in October.

All are welcome to participate; register through nols.org/book-discussion-groups to receive the Zoom meeting information

Paperback copies of the titles will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussions at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., or the Port Angeles Library 2210 S. Peabody St., on a first-come, first-served basis. Copies in other formats such as large print, book on CD and eBook may also be available to request through the NOLS catalog at nols.org.

The October Book Discussion Group schedule includes:

• 2nd Saturday Book Discussion Group — “Hunger” by Roxane Gay, 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9; paperback copies available at Sequim Library

• 2nd Tuesday Book Discussion Group — “The Dutch House” by Ann Patchett, 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12; paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library

• Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group — “The Nickel Boys” by Colson Whitehead, 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27; paperback copies available at Sequim Library

• Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group — “America: The Farewell Tour” by Chris Hedges, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27; paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library
