The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) is offering free art workshops taught by SilverKite Community Arts on Zoom. The schedule is as follows:
Drawing: Wintery Scene in Colored Pencil — Monday, Jan. 26, 1:30–2:30 p.m. Learn layering, blending and creating depth to bring a seasonal scene to life.
Watercolor Painting: Mountain Ranges — Saturday, Feb. 28, 10:30–11:30 a.m. Explore color mixing, wet-on-wet washes and painting depth to evoke the peacefulness and strength of a mountain range.
Acrylic Painting: Branches and Buds — Saturday, March 7, 10:30–11:30 a.m. Capture the lines of budding branches through layering, texture, composition and brushwork.
