If “The Boys in the Boat” is on your TBR (To Be Read) List in anticipation of the upcoming movie release, now is a great time to pick up a copy of the book.

The library will be hosting book discussions about “The Boys in the Boat” at Locally Known Cowork, 112 W. Washington St., from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11. A virtual discussion will be held from 11 a.m.-noon on Zoom on Thursday, Dec. 14; everyone is welcome to attend, whether you just read the book or read it five years ago. If you can’t make it to either of the discussions, but enjoy talking about books and meeting other readers, consider attending another book discussion offered through the library. The Second Saturday Book Discussion Group meets at the Sequim Library from 3-4 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month. On Dec. 9, the group will discuss “Before We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate.
