Olympic Peninsula Authors releases its fifth anthology, set launch for Sunday

Olympic Peninsula Authors (OPA) will host a book launch for “Tall & True Tales of the Olympic Peninsula,” the fifth-annual anthology from the group, from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, at the KSQM Community Room, 609 W. Washington St.

The public is invited.

Several authors will be on hand to read selections from the anthology and sign copies. The book contains selections by 35 writers. Stories, memoirs, essays and poems tell myths to facts centered around life unique to the Peninsula.

The book will be available following the launch at Pacific Mist Books, 121 W. Washington St. in Sequim, and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center gallery, 1203 Lauridsen Blvd. in Port Angeles.

It will also be available at the Olympic Peninsula Author booth at the Sequim Irrigation Festival and the Sequim Farmers & Artisans Market throughout the summer, as well as the Sequim Chamber of Commerce visitor’s center, 1192 E. Washington St.

Olympic Peninsula Authors is an organization whose goal is “to increase awareness of the many independent authors in our area.”
