One last (Live With) Lunch for season

The last concert of the series for Music Live with Lunch for the season will be at noon Tuesday, May 19, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave. in Sequim.

The last concert of the series for Music Live with Lunch for the season will be at noon Tuesday, May 19, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave. in Sequim.

Karen Pritchard is the featured soprano soloist accompanied by Lorraine Martin, the group’s choir director and pianist. Pritchard will be singing a lengthy Samuel Barber piece called “Knoxville: Summer of 1915,” which is a tribute to James Agee and the lyrics are Agee’s poignant prose reminiscence of childhood memories in Knoxville, Tenn.

Kristina Holtrop, a senior at Sequim High School and student of Aspire Academy, will be dancing and interpreting the work as choreographed by Naomi Alstrup of Aspire Academy.

The half hour noon concert in the sanctuary is followed by a hot lunch in the parish hall.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.

The church office is open 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Thursday.
