OPAA art show continues online, in person

The group’s fundraiser ended Dec. 17, but the Olympic Peninsula Art Association’s Winter Members’ Art Show is available in person and online.

The exhibit, which opened Dec. 3, is up at Sequim Museum & Arts, 544 N. Sequim Ave., through Jan. 31. Museum days/hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Those interested can view the exhibit online at 2021membershow.opaashow.org, also through Jan. 31.

Profits from the show are used to fund the OPAA scholarship program and other community programs throughout the year. OPAA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Exhibits throughout the year include a Members’ Art Exhibit and Sale and may include a Juried Art Exhibit, a Small Art Fundraiser and Art Supply Sale, as well as several venues in the community in which to hang art.

Membership in OPAA includes a monthly newsletter, the opportunity to participate in the Members’ Exhibit, information about art competitions, exhibit opportunities and workshop information. Meeting are held in-person (COVID restrictions permitting) and virtually through Zoom, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of the month, January through October. When permitted, in-person meetings are held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall 525 N. Fifth Ave.; each meeting includes an artist demonstration or presentation.
