OTA sets Ceres Dance Theatre performance

Olympic Theatre Arts, Sequim, continues its participation in the First Friday Art Walk on Sept. 4 with another “Off Stage” performance. Ceres Dance Theatre featuring principal dancer Rose Kelly will take the stage in the OTA Center’s Gathering Hall.

The show will feature a “Ceres” of dance numbers including tap, ballet and jazz forms — all to be performed by Kelly. The show will proceed through time beginning with the “Golden Age of Entertainment” (the early 1930s-1950s), ending with the contemporary dance of today.

The theater doors will open at 5 p.m., with the performance starting at 5:50 p.m. There will be no charge for attendance. Refreshments, including wine, beer and light snacks, will be available for purchase. The OTA Center is at 414 N. Sequim Ave.
