PA High School art a benefit for Serenity House

Port Angeles High School has provided 38 soup bowls, crafted by the art class, to benefit homeless families and individuals through Serenity House of Clallam County.

The glazed handmade pottery bowls are available this Saturday, June 16, at the Port Angeles Farmers Market for a donation to Serenity House.

“This marks the fourth year that PAHS students have contributed their art work to help their neighbors who don’t have housing,” said Brad Collins, Deputy Director of Serenity House.

“For some people, the PAHS Serenity House bowls have become a collector item.”

The Farmers Market is located downtown in the Gateway Plaza. Bowls will be available beginning at 10 a.m.

Serenity House is a grassroots non-profit, dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness in Clallam County.
