“Dancing with the Northern Lights,” a watercolor painting by Sequim Artist Priscilla Patterson, received an Honorable Mention Award at the recent American Society of Aviation Artists annual forum. The exhibition, held this year at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, runs through Oct. 31. Patterson, education chairman for the organization, gave a presentation on her work as a composite law enforcement artist, including a tutorial on drawing facial features.
