PHOTO: Sequim kicks off the holidays

Locals celebrated the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season with Hometown Holidays events on Nov. 25 in downtown Sequim.

Events included musical and seasonal appearances by local musicians and “North Pole residents” along with continuing traditions of the downtown tree lighting and tractor cruise. Events coincided with Small Business Saturday.

The Sequim City Band, Juan de Fuca Harmony and Peninsula Singers performed, and Santa Claus rode into Sequim for photos with two members of the Sequim Irrigation Festival royalty.

The Sequim Museum & Arts’ ninth-annual Tractor Cruise lit up downtown Sequim.
