Clair Dunlap, youth services librarian with the North Olympic Library System, leads the first Rain or Shine! Outdoor Storytime event of 2022 at the Sequim branch on April 5.

The all-ages series, which runs through May 31, features stories, music, rhymes and plenty of movement and fun. Activities such as talking, reading, playing and singing all play an important role in early childhood development, library representatives say.

Storytime events at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., are at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays in the field behind the library.
