Quilt show finds ‘tropical delight’ with weather and turnout

Sunny weather brought in big crowds in for the Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club’s “Tropical Delight.”

The club celebrated its 27th annual Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club show during Lavender Weekend at the Sequim Middle School.

Featured quilter Geneva Coffin of Port Angeles said it was a fun weekend and that people often asked if they could vote for her work as best in show. She politely declined.

This year audiences chose Sandy Rudd’s “Light in the Forest” as best in show.
