Quilt show winners to be displayed at Stitch in Time Shoppe

Visitors of the Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club’s annual show in July during Sequim Lavender Weekend can get a second helping for the next month-and-a-half with a mini-show of the winning quilts.

Nancy Wilcox, the show’s featured quilter, is bringing the winning quilts for display at A Stitch in Time Quilt Shoppe, 225 E. Washington St., from Friday, Sept. 13-Thursday, Oct. 31.

The quilts were chosen by the public from 160-plus quilts at Trinity United Methodist Church. Each quilt will be on display with their ribbons and information on their winning categories.

Categories, quilts and winners include:

Best in Show and Art Quilt — “Rue Lanscot” by Barbara Johnson

Applique — “Of a Feather” by Nancy Wilcox

Hand-pieced and hand-quilted — “Brinton Hall” by Jaydee Price

Landscape — “Olypen Find Me” by Marianne Nolte

Modern — “Clarity” by Stephanie Swensson

Non-quilt — “Quilter’s Chair” by Anne Davies

PAQ Challenge — “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Marca Davies

Portrait — “Olivia the Octopus” by Nancy Wilcox

Scrap — “Buster” by Mary Jo Gugelman

Small quilt — “Rooted” by Beverly Beighle

Traditional — “Sarah’s Wedding” by Wendy Whittemore, Ann Campney
