The film “Return of the River” will be shown at the Sequim High School Auditorium at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13. Admission is $8 per person and $6 for senior citizens and students with an ASB card.
Advanced ticket sales begin Jan. 5 and may be purchased at Sequim High School’s main office during the school week from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. or at the District Office from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets also may be purchased at the door on Jan. 13 beginning at 3:30 p.m. for the 4 p.m. showing, and 5:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. showing. Cash or checks only are acceptable for payment.
The Sequim High School ASB will sponsor the event. The ASB supports all student programs.
The movie will be followed by Q & A time with filmmaker John Gussman in the cafeteria. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Co-directed by Gussman and Jessica Plumb, the 71-minute film tells the story of a remarkable campaign to set a river free, culminating in the largest dam removal in history. Filmed over a four-year period, the feature was completed in February 2014.
