River Center offers ‘Twinkling Lights and Holiday Delights’

This December, the Dungeness River Nature Center invites the community to celebrate the season with Twinkling Lights and Holiday Delights, a festive series of free family activities throughout the month. Visitors can enjoy the park aglow with holiday lights and take part in crafts, story time, and a special movie screening.

Each event begins at 4:30 p.m. and is designed for all ages. Activities include hot chocolate and a showing of Smallfoot, creative craft sessions, holiday cookie decorating, and a special visit from Mrs. Claus.

The event schedule is as follows:

Friday, Dec. 5

Hot chocolate and a screening of Smallfoot

Saturday, Dec. 6

Craft: Giant 3D snowflakes

Friday, Dec. 12

Craft: Beeswax candle making

Saturday, Dec. 13

Storytime with Mrs. Claus

Friday, Dec. 19

Craft: Pinecone Christmas trees

Saturday, Dec. 20

Holiday cookie decorating

Registration is requested for each date so staff can ensure enough supplies for participants.
